Tickets warning ahead of Olly gig

-

Music fans have been warned not to purchase tickets for Thursday’s Olly Murs concert at Slessor Gardens from thirdparty websites.

Tickets for the concert are still available from the Dundee City Box Office.

A spokesman said: “Tickets for Olly Murs on Thursday 20 July at Slessor Gardens are still available to purchase at the best price from Dundee City Box Office in person, by phone and online.

“We would warn all customers against using search engines to purchase tickets as there is no requirement to buy from secondary ticketing sites.”

The concert will be the third and final of this year’s concerts at Slessor Gardens.

Reggae legends UB40 performed the first concert at the venue in May before girl group Little Mix delighted more than 11,000 fans when they took to the stage last month.

Promoters the Liz Hobbs Group have already said they plan to stage more concerts at Slessor Gardens next year due the success of this year’s programme.

Olly Murs finished as runnerup to Joe McElderry on the X Factor in 2009.

Since then he has sold millions of records, including four chart-topping albums.

He will be supported by 2015 X Factor winner Louisa Johnson on Thursday.

Roads around Slessor Gardens will be closed and diversions put in place for the duration of the gig.
