Tickets are on sale from 9am today for The View’s homecoming show in December.

The Dryburgh boys will be back at The Caird Hall on Friday, December 1 as part of their Hats Off To The Buskers 10th anniversar­y tour.

It has already seen them play a record-breaking six sold out nights at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut and enter The Barrowland­s Hall of Fame after their 10th sell-out show at the iconic venue.

Tickets for the Caird Hall gig are £18.50 available from gigsinscot­land.com and ticketmast­er.co.uk popular open mic night is on Wednesday at 8.30pm.

McDaniels has Alan and Dominic tonight at 9pm then Hustler tomorrow night from 9.30pm.

Cherry Bombz are unplugged tonight at Café Ecks in Kirriemuir from 9pm.

On Sunday the pop punk group is at Kettledrum for a tea time show at 5pm.

Tonight at the Reading Rooms it’s Stamina with resident DJ Matt Perry going back-to-back with Cosmic T-Bag, who will be already be familiar with Italo fans thanks to his Cybernetic Dreams night in Edinburgh.

He’s promised to stack his record bag full of house, acid and Italo for his first outing to the small-town club.

Entry is £5 on the door and gates open at 10.30pm.

Locarno is back tomorrow with an early start for the Blackscrof­t Barbecue in the garden from 4pm before Red, Steven, Reuben and Max bring their alternativ­e slice of 50s and 60s rock & roll, soul, surf, pop, garage and more.

Gates open at 10pm and entry is free between 4pm and 10pm, £5 before midnight, £7 after (£4/6 for students).

The Funkin’ Idiots play funk and disco tunes tomorrow at Clark’s on Lindsay Street.

Tomorrow there’s reggae and ska classics from Buffalo Soldiers.

Both start around 9.30pm with free entry before midnight.

Fife folk rockers Break The Butterfly head over the Tay tomorrow for a headline show at Church.

With a fast-growing base of loyal fans, Break The Butterfly are a bold, dynamic band who deliver an uplifting sound with a vibrant Scottish twang.

Support comes from Dundee group Captain Island.

American rockgrass pioneers Hayseed Dixie are in Perth on Monday at new live music venue Gig Room, which is part of the Clearwater Studios complex in Shore Road.

Tickets are £17.50 from Ticketmast­er, Clearwater Studios and the venue.
