Open Minded Skeptiks are hitting up Courier Country for the first time in about three years this week on their Join The Revolution tour.

Starting off tomorrow they are at Monty’s in Dunfermlin­e from 8pm.

Support comes from Let’s Play God, Serenity Came Calling and Kyber. Entry is free. On Thursday, they visit Dundee’s Church.

The last time they visited the City of Discovery they completely tore up the same venue and their message to the fans is, “Let’s do it again.”

Support comes from Let’s Play God, Heavy Smoke, Veins of Carbide and Breeding Indium.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are available from all the bands for a fiver, or it’s £6 on the door.

Then on Friday, they play the Windsor Hotel in Kirkcaldy. More on that next week.

Cherry Bombz are at Market tonight from 9.30pm.

The pop punk group also play an unplugged set on Sunday at Alison’s Bar and Function Suite at 4pm.

There’s 80s pop and rock covers at Clark’s on Lindsay Street tonight from Danger Zone.

Tomorrow Two Wheels Good play dynamic bluesy rock.

Both start around 9.30pm with free entry before midnight.

The Sunday Song Club is back this week for a showcase with American hillbilly punks Hymn For Her.

The duo has been busy touring across the USA and abroad over the past few years, injecting juiced-up backwoods country blues with a dose of desert rock psychedeli­a.

z Tonight at the Reading Rooms it’s the return of Typewriter and Dunc4n.

With one of the infamous tag-team moving to Berlin, it’s been a while since the Crayon comrades have held down the turntables together at the small town club.

Reunited for one night only with heavy beats, bass and raps on the menu from 10.30pm.

Book Club tomorrow kicks off at 4pm for BBQ in the Backies with Van D playing a hip hop set.

Moving inside once the sun goes down, there’s a special treat in the form of Sally C of Sister Swedge, who has also been crafting her house cuts in some choice parties in Berlin.

Support comes from Marc JD and Is Kill.
