The Rotary Club of Perth held a major celebratory event to mark its centenary.

A total of 22 of the 27 surviving past presidents attended a dinner in the Royal Perth Golfing Society hosted by the club’s current president, David Lindsay.

He thanked those who were there for their leadership and dedication to the Rotary movement over the years, which he said has enabled the club to be in the strong position it finds itself in today.

The Perth club is the third oldest in Scotland, following Glasgow and Edinburgh and the 14th in Britain and Ireland.

The club was founded in 1917 after a visit by two members of the Edinburgh club.
