FLORAL ART Alyson Christie from St Andrews will give a demonstrat­ion to the RHS Perthshire Floral Art Club on Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Royal George Hotel, Perth.

LOCAL HISTORY An illustrate­d talk will be given by coin expert Joe Lamont on Scottish coinage from 1136 to 1603 at the next meeting of the Auchterard­er and District Local History Associatio­n on Friday at 7.30pm in the Aytoun Hall, Auchterard­er.

BANKFOOT A quiz night will be held in Bankfoot Church Centre on Thursday September 28 at 7pm.

PERTH A “messy church” is held on the last Sunday of the month at Moncreiffe Church, Glenbruar Crescent, Perth, from 11am-1pm with the next gathering on Sunday September 24.
