FLORAL ART Alyson Christie from St Andrews will give a demonstration to the RHS Perthshire Floral Art Club on Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Royal George Hotel, Perth.

LOCAL HISTORY An illustrated talk will be given by coin expert Joe Lamont on Scottish coinage from 1136 to 1603 at the next meeting of the Auchterarder and District Local History Association on Friday at 7.30pm in the Aytoun Hall, Auchterarder.

BANKFOOT A quiz night will be held in Bankfoot Church Centre on Thursday September 28 at 7pm.
