High demand for properties in listed-building development

The former St Stephen’s RC Primary in Blairgowrie, which has been converted into affordable housing, has welcomed its first tenants.

The eight residents have received the keys to their new apartments in the listed building, which was converted by the Carling Property Group into seven one-bedroom properties and a studio apartment.

Let through the Perth and Kinross Council-run PKC Lets, priority for applications was given to those working in the local area, over-55s and applicants with medical needs.

Kayley Hallgarth from PKC said the scheme had been “inundated” with inquiries from people wanting to view the development in John Street.
