KIRRIEMUIR: The Kirrie Connection­s dementia-friendly hub hosts a jewellery sale and tombola today from 10am to 3pm, hosted by the Forget-me-not Belles.

All proceeds got to Alzheimer Scotland’s work in Angus.

ARBROATH: Age Concern Arbroath still has places available for this year’s tea parties and concerts. The week runs from September 25 to 29.

Teas are on Monday and Thursday and concerts Tuesday and Friday. Contact Ann Birse on 01241 875874.

CARNOUSTIE: The opening meeting of the session of Carnoustie Church Guild is on Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Philip Hall.

The speaker will be Margaret Copland from Monifieth’s House of Memories.

FORFAR: Angus Threeway Fundraiser­s are hosting an afternoon with Midnight Shore from Arbroath in the Legion, Academy Street, tomorrow from 2 to 5pm.

Tickets cost £4 at the door,

NEWTYLE: Messy Church will take place at Newtyle Church at 1.45pm tomorrow.

FORFAR: A charity shop in aid of Lippen Care will be held in the Masonic Lodge, Coutties Wynd on Thursday September 21 from 12 to 4pm, Friday September 22 from 10am to 4pm and Saturday September 23 from 10am to 3.30pm.
