Davis Cup ties on a knife-edge
Both Davis Cup semi-finals are tied as they head into today’s doubles rubbers.
Nick Kyrgios defeated Steve Darcis in a five-set thriller in Brussels.
Kyrgios was 2-1 down but powered back in the final two sets, winning 6-3 4-6 6-7 (7-5) 6-1 6-2 to level the match after David Goffin had earlier defeated John Millman.
In the other last four clash, France and Serbia are also tied.
At Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille, Jo-wilfried Tsonga beat Laslo Djere (Ser) 7-6 (7-2) 6-3 6-3.
In the first match, Dusan Lajovic beat Lucas Pouille, 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (9/7), 7-6 (7/5).
