Pansies well warned as Blairgowri­e come calling

Leaders Violet meet Blairgowri­e at Glenesk and, after the visitors’ win over Downfield last week, there is no danger they will be treated lightly.

The Pansies are missing Mitchell Hay and Ross Mcleary.

Blair player/boss Mark Brash expects to have the same squad that performed so well last week, plus returning striker Gary Axworthy.

Second-placed Luncarty host Brechin Vics and have striker Richard Doig available again and Stuart Nicol likely to be back from injury.

Both Gordon Chalmers and player/ manager Jon Kelly face fitness tests.

After hitting Forfar Albion for six last week, Brechin Vics are likely to be along the same lines.

Harp host Lochore Welfare and boss Michael Gormley hopes his side can take heart from a fine second half performanc­e against Super League Bo’ness last week.

But they are without Sam Mcdonald, who scored both goals last week, plus James Cochrane Mark Kelly and Lloyd Young.

However, they have new signing Nathan Taylor and Josh Perera also returns.

Kinnoull are looking for a fourth straight win when Newburgh visit Tulloch Park and have the same squad available.

Beaten by leaders Violet last week, it is another tough assignment for Alan Fortune’s men.

Scone Thistle entertain Arbroath Vics and are without Craig Mitchell and Charlie Fertacz .
