Bluebells boss demands 100% concentration

-

League leaders Lochee United travel to Newtongrange determined to retain top spot.

Despite taking over on goal difference after last week’s win over Kennoway, George Shields was unhappy at the second half lapse in which they lost two goals and wants 100% concentration if they are to be remain genuine title contenders.

Kevin Buchan, Mark Stewart are again absentees, while Jamie Montgomery has been loaned out to Violet.

Dundonald Bluebell are just two points off top spot and visit Bo’ness, who have been toiling with just two wins to their credit.

Boss Stevie Kay is without Craig Wedderburn and Brodie Gray with Adam Moffat doubtful.

Meanwhile, Carnoustie have the unenviable task of trying to halt undefeated title favourites Bonnyrigg Rose at New Dundas Park.

Although again without Ryan Roche, Liam Scott and Luke Mcgeehan, defender Adam Harwood returns from suspension.

Pleased as he was at getting off to a winning start against Newtongrange Star last week as Broughty’s new boss, Jim Finlayson feels there is room for improvement.

He is highly hopeful of having a new midfielder available for the visit of Broxburn.

Hill of Beath head to Sauchie and are in better shape than last week when they eased their way to a 5-0 win over New Elgin in the Scottish.

However, boss Kevin Fotheringham is still without Rikki Dair and Darren Wright, and Kevin Connors is doubtful.

Jeanfield Swifts travel to Camelon and with just one defeat in four away trips will travel with some confidence.

Fraser Mills could return following injury and Lee Deans is available again, but Scott Mollison is a doubt and injured duo Mark Duigan and Chris Anton are still sidelined.

Forfar West End have it all to do away to joint-leaders Penicuik.

The hosts are unbeaten but have drawn two home games, while all West End’s points have come on the road.

Still looking for their first top flight win, Kennoway won’t find it easy against Linlithgow Rose.

Apart from the suspended Chris Gay and long-term casualty Luke Binnington, everyone else is available.
