Dundee-based drinks supplier JF Kegs is holding a trade show next week as pubs and restaurants prepare for the busy Christmas period.

A variety of drinks producers, including Dundee craft beer company 71 Brewing, will attend the show with deals and incentives offered on the day.

The event helps JF Kegs, which distributes to Tayside, Fife and Aberdeen, win new customers and also plan its festive period.

JF Kegs sales executive Louise Doran said stock is booked at the show for a 10-week period from November to January.

“Drinks brands have stalls and offer various deals on the day so the trade book their stock for the Christmas period,” she said.

“Our existing customers are invited as well as potential customers, who will hopefully sign up on the day to have accounts with us. It’s a way of getting new customers.

“Our customers are delighted because they know they are getting a wee bit extra, be it free stock or vouchers.

“It also helps us because people sign up for 10 weeks so we know what orders we’ve got coming in over our busiest time.”

Around 250 people have been invited to the event at the Quay Function Suite at City Quay next Wednesday from 11am to 4pm.

Among the producers hosting stalls are Global Brands, Molsoncoors, Schweppes and Cellar Trends.

JF Kegs operates a fleet of vehicles from its premises at Kilspindie Road in Dundee.

Led by Jimmy Fyffe, the company has been serving pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants since 2002.
