Chris wins inaugural Silvery Tay

Dundee Road Runner Chris Earl won the inaugural Silvery Tay Trail Race.

It covered a 4.8- mile course from Wormit Bay to Balmerino with Chris clocking a winning time of 31 minutes and 40 seconds.

Women’s winner Susanne Lumsden (Falkland TR) – 20th at the Glen Clova Half marathon last Saturday – was 12th overall and was 12 seconds clear of Fife AC over 50 Lynne Stephen, who had contested the Scottish 4km Cross-country Championships at Kirkcaldy less than 24 hours earlier.
