EXHIBITION: Carnoustie Camera Club’s free exhibition in Carnoustie Library runs until December 2, featuring 60 prints by members.

LETHAM: Dunnichen, Letham, and Kirkden Guild is holding a coffee morning in Letham Church Hall on Saturday from 10am to noon.

A small display of wedding dresses and christenin­g robes is also running in the church, depicting the guild theme of Go in Love.

FORFAR:

Forfar and District Cats Protection has thanked all those who supported its recent coffee morning, which raised £670, as well as Tesco shoppers who continue to put cat food in a collection box at the store.

Results of the latest whist drive in Northmuir Hall – 1 Mrs Mary Donnelly, 2 Mrs Irene Burrows, 3 Mr Ron James. Booby prize, Mr George Aitken.

The next whist drive at Northmuir Hall will be held on Wednesday November 22.

FORFAR:

The latest Forget Me Not sale to raise funds for alzheimer’s support will take place in the Masonic Lodge, Coutties Wynd, on Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. It will be a winter sale of coats, jackets, boots and toys.
