Police said three youths aged 15 and one aged 14 will be reported following a blaze at Cordyce School in Dyce.

Crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze at around 11pm on Monday.

Six appliances were sent to the scene and more than 30 firefighters took about three hours to bring the flames under control.

Police Scotland officers also attended.

Detective Inspector David Howieson said: “The building has been extensively damage and it goes without saying that this could have been a much more serious incident.

“Thankfully no one was injured.

“We urge anyone who saw anything or has any knowledge which may assist our inquiries gets in touch with us on 101.”
