The Aboukir will be the venue for the Carnoustie Ca­nine Ca­pers fundrais­ing quiz to­mor­row.

It starts at 7pm and a ta­ble of four costs £10.


The Royal Bri­tish Le­gion Ar­broath women’s sec­tion an­nual meet­ing is on Fri­day, with doors open at 6.45pm.


A win­ter craft fair or­gan­ised by the Glens and Kirriemuir Old Parish Church takes place on Satur­day from 10am to 2pm in Kirriemuir Old Parish hall.

On of­fer will be jew­ellery, choco­lates, sweets, can­dles, handmade soap, knitted goods, cards, Christ­mas good­ies, Fair­trade goods and Church cal­en­dars.

En­try, cost­ing £1.50 for adults and 50p for chil­dren, in­cludes tea or cof­fee and a mince pie.


The RNLI Lifeboat Guild Christ­mas Craft Evening takes place on Novem­ber 23 in the Royal Bri­tish Le­gion Hall in He­len Street at 7pm for 7.30pm.

Tick­ets cost­ing £4 in­clude a glass of wine and nib­bles.

Tick­ets are avail­able from any mem­ber of the Guild or the RNLI Shop, open week­ends from 1-3pm.

INVERKEILOR: Inverkeilor Church Guild host a soup and pud­ding lunch on Satur­day in the church hall in Sta­tion Road from noon un­til 2pm.

En­try costs £4.
