Families asked to rummage for toys to donate this Christmas
People in Angus and Dundee are being urged to clear out their toy shelves ahead of Christmas to help less fortunate families.
Children’s charity Barnardo’s Scotland is asking people to hand in donations of toys and games to any of its five stores throughout Angus and Dundee.
Carole Robertson, area business manager, said: “We sell a lot of toys and games at this time of the year and are really grateful for the generous donations from local people.
“It’s amazing what people unearth when they start looking in the back of cupboards and at the bottom of the toy box – it’s a good excuse to have a clear out at home.”
The Angus branches are in Arbroath and Montrose.
