Clarification

-

In Monday’s paper we carried a story from Angus Licensing Board about the Grey Harlings Guest House in Montrose.

The guest house was granted an on-sales licence at the meeting in Forfar, despite an objection from next-door neighbours Kevin and Tracey Prudhoe with regards to “anti-social noise”.

We said in our report that the licence was granted by the board with restrictions stating that alcohol would not be permitted in the courtyard, gazebo and patio and there would be no drinking in the garden.

We have been asked to clarify that the board agreed to permit the consumption of alcohol in the outside courtyard, patio and gazebo areas until 9pm each night.

We are happy to make this clear and apologise for the error.
