Victims don’t matter to dealer

-

A weapons dealer convicted of supplying firearms and ammunition to the criminal underworld told police he didn’t care about potential victims.

Paul Edmunds also told officers that after the Dunblane massacre in 1996, the firearms community had been “shafted”.

He said: “When they banned handguns, they ripped the heart out of the shooting community.”

A 1920 Colt pistol supplied by Edmunds was used in the fatal Boxing Day shooting at the London Avalon nightclub, in 2013. Another gun, again linked to Edmunds, was also found to have been fired at the scene of a fatal shooting in Birmingham in October 2015.
