Tomorrow night, young Dundee band Kashmir Crows launch their debut studio EP at Church in Ward Road.

The Fever EP and video for lead track Fever is celebrated at the launch with an hourlong set, featuring all their best songs, including the full EP with a special performanc­e of Fever synched to the video in the background.

It’s the latest boost for the six-piece band who have recently gained a management deal along with several top festival slots, including at Westfest and Carnival 56 in the summer, along with some great gigs across the country.

Now comes their debut EP which was released on Monday and a limited run of 500 cds will be produced for sale for a fiver on the night.

Support comes from Oskar Braves and Peter Watters.

Dundee Acoustic Music Club plays host this Sunday to The Horsenecks at Roseangle Cafe. The four-piece from Liverpool via Portland, Oregon, play hard-hitting and heartfelt Old Time and classic Bluegrass music, brought to life with a high-energy performanc­e.

The four members formed a strong musical bond after meeting at a festival in 2012. With driving old time fiddle, three-finger banjo, vocal harmonies, and a genuine love of Old Time music they have since been swiftly becoming a well-loved staple in the traditiona­l music scenes in the US and the UK.

Hustler are at Mcdaniels tonight from 9pm then tomorrow it’s Tonka at 9.30pm.

Brothers Barry and Nicky Lawson play acoustic covers at The Bank Bar tonight.

Sinderins’ Stevie Anderson and Dave Webster are at the Union Street venue tomorrow. Both start around 9.30pm.

Songwriter­s Sunday is hosted by Gav Mcginty and Martin Tino Allan at 8.30pm.

Dave Webster is back on Wednesday for open mic from 8.30pm.

Dundee Soul Club is at Royal Tay Yacht Club tomorrow with guest DJS George Adams, Donnie Grant and Adam Sadler from 7.30pm.

Entry is £5 on the door.

There’s an early show tonight at The Reading Rooms with The Mouse Outfit from 8pm.

Fronted by UK hip hop legend Dr Syntax and verbal acrobat Sparkz, the ninepiece band’s horn heavy and funk driven live show blends lost classic sounds from the golden age of hip hop with soul, jazz and reggae influences.

On Sunday it’s fiery Highland five-piece Elephant Sessions from 7pm.

The group fuses rick folk and trad influences with rock, funk and electronic­a in a captivatin­g, progressiv­e, visceral blend.

In just a few short years the group have already become renowned for breath-taking live shows, taking the festival scene well and truly by storm with appearance­s at Glastonbur­y, Denmark’s Tønder and a sold out headline show at Celtic Connection­s 2017.
