Bluebell aiming to close to within point of leaders

-

The only Super League fixture is at Broxburn where Dundonald Bluebell are the visitors and with New Albyn Park’s Astroturf, this is one game that should go ahead, with a 2.30pm start.

Under the radar, the Fifers find themselves sitting second and a win would put them within a point of leaders Linlithgow Rose.

Only concern for the Moorside men is a doubt over top scorer Lewis Mckenzie.

There are just three fixtures in the Premier Division.

After last week’s fine win at Tayport, St Andrews again figure in a Fife derby, this time away to Thornton Hibs.

Saints boss Craig Morrison has the same squad available as they look for the win that would take them second.

Meanwhile, after sharing six goals with Haddington last week, Hibs gaffer Craig Gilbert will be looking for an improvement defensively.

Glenrothes head to bottom-of-thetable Arniston, who are still without a win but held Downfield last week.

The Glens were sweating on the fitness of six players, including boss Willie Campbell, but he is confident that at least three of them will make it. Craig Lornie is definitely missing.

Second bottom Kirrie Thstle are Dalkeith-bound as they seek three points to ease the mounting pressure.

Finding the net is their big problem having failed to score in their last five league games, all of which have ended in defeat.
