Caledonian Marts Ltd sold 2,389 prime lambs, ewes and tups.

The overall average for 1,653 lambs 172.6ppkg (+4.9ppkg) with 1,444 39kg+ av £78.31 (+ £3.12 on the week).

Top price of the day went to WM Bell and Son, Craigend for a 55kg Beltex X Lamb at £103.

Top price per kg went to Bankhead Farmers for a pen of 44kg Beltex’s at 232ppkg.
