Forfar and District Pipe Band will host a Christmas ceilidh on Sunday in the Forfar Cricket Club.

There will be music from Scott Carnegie and Friends.

The event takes place from 1.30pm until 5pm.

Tickets £4 on the door.

MONTROSE

The Two Pauls will perform a concert at Montrose Old and St Andrews Church at 7.30pm today.

Tickets cost £12 and include refreshmen­ts.

Proceeds in aid of Nyumbani HIV orphans.

ARBROATH

Comedy act the Grumblewee­ds will perform an afternoon of laughter, music and magic at Arbroath’s Webster Theatre on February 22.

The Grumblewee­ds have been involved in the entertainm­ent business for more than 50 years.

Tickets £16 and concession­s £15.

BRECHIN

The Santa Specials will return to Brechin’s Caledonian Railway tomorrow and Sunday.

There will be a chance for youngsters to meet Santa on his special train.

Booking can be made through the railway’s website.

MONIKIE

A festive fun weekend takes place at Monikie Country Park tomorrow and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Santa will be there in his grotto and there will also be market stalls, decoration workshops and face painting.
