£1 million investment by Crown Parks to celebrate 10 years in Arbroath
Because it’s our building process, we can make the lodges to our specific designs and we can base those designs on feedback from the owners in our parks.”
A £1 million land clearance and investment by the owner of a holiday park at the edge of Arbroath is putting money back into the local economy – and also giving visitors to the area more choice.
Crown Parks has transformed a piece of scrubland in their Seaton Park development, now in its 10th year, to make room for 90 luxury properties – which are now available to preorder.
Each plot is bigger than the others in the park, meaning buyers will have more room to give their holiday home a personal touch outside as well as in.
And a number of the homes will, for the first time at the park, be available to purchase for buy-to-let.
But it’s not just buyers who are benefitting from the park’s expansion.
Site Manager Krys said: “Because this is such a large development, we have used local contractors, and that money is then spent in the local community.”.
“The potential for up to 400 additional holidaymakers at the park will also benefit the local economy – during their stay, these people will be eating, drinking, shopping and taking part in activities nearby.”
The first phase of homes will be available by spring 2018, and options now include lodges, which have been built precisely to Crown Parks’ specifications.
He explained: “We are building these lodges ourselves. They are bigger than any of our current stock caravans and offer more of a cottage feel, which is very different.
