Electrifying event at Probus

Iain Ross from Broughty Ferry, who was raised in Macduff, intrigued Forfar Probus Club members with an illustrated talk on Dr Walford Bodie MD, a Scottish showman, hypnotist, ventriloquist and stage magician famed for his mock electrocutions.

Walford, whose real name was Samuel Murphy Bodie toured the British music hall circuit in the early 20th Century.
