Mr David Charles Guthrie, has died at his residence, East Haddon Hall, Northamptonshire. He was the proprietor of Craigie estate, Dundee. Mr Guthrie, who was 56 years of age, was a son of Mr James Alexander Guthrie, who died in 1873. As proprietor of the Craigie estate, Mr Guthrie had large interests in Dundee. Baxter Park was part of the estate and recently Dundee Town Council decided to feu a large portion of the estate in connection with a municipal housing scheme.
