FORFAR:
The first Messy Church of the new year at Lowson Memorial Parish Church, Forfar, will take place on Saturday at 9.30am, for a 10am start.
Stories, songs, craftwork and games on the theme of “Jesus as the Mender” will be on offer to all ages.
MONTROSE:
The first meeting of the new session of Glaxosmithkline retired staff association took place in the Links Hotel, where guest speaker Mr Sandy Paterson gave a talk on the stars of the silver screen.
The next meeting is a Burns lunch in the Links Hotel on Tuesday at noon for a 12.30pm start.
Entertainment will be provided by A Right Couple of Charlies.
ARBROATH:
Angus Alive has announced a new show for the Webster Memorial Theatre in Arbroath.
Showtime Australia’s highly anticipated debut UK tour of their Michael Jackson History Show comes to the venue on Thursday May 31.
The full-scale stage production showcases Michael Jackson’s greatest hits live on stage.
Star of the show, Dantanio, was cast for the role of Michael after producers spent more than a year auditioning performers across the globe.
Doug Taylor, arts and events programme manager for Angus Alive, said it was a must-see event for 2018.
