Contract caterers Wild Thyme will be at the showcase so couples can find out more about food options.

Today, the castle looks more like a French chateau than a medieval fortress because it was extensively restored in the 17th and 18th centuries.

As you and your guests make your way down the mile-long avenue to reach the building, the sense of occasion will be immense and unforgettable.

Each wedding at Glamis Castle is tailored to suit the couple’s every wish, the team working with you at every stage to create your perfect day.

The castle can offer a full wedding package or can be booked for either the ceremony or reception only.

You can choose how your big day will be – either a huge celebration or a more intimate affair – as this beautiful venue can cater for party sizes up to 90.

With close connections to the royal family, Glamis Castle was the childhood home of the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret, who was born there in 1930.
