Tie cannot come quick enough for Gowfers

-

Three Courier Country sides have outstanding fourth round ties scheduled this weekend.

Carnoustie Panmure and Forfar West End face trips to the west, while Jeanfield Swifts welcome Beith to Riverside Park.

Carnoustie travel to Duncansfield to take on Kilsyth Rangers with a full squad available to manager Alan Mcskimming.

The Gowfers boss said: “The boys are champing at the bit for the game. It’s been three weeks since we beat Broughty Athletic in the Super League so the game can’t come soon enough.”

Daryl Mckenzie takes his West End side to Ayrshire to face Kilbirnie Ladeside at Valefield Park.

The Super League Premier Division side will be tough opponents for Mckenzie’s team who sit bottom of the East Region Super League with three wins.

West End take a squad of 18 to Ayrshire with long-term casualty Matty Ramsay joined on the sidelines by Gary Robertson and Dale Robertson.

The draw for the fifth round was made on Thursday and if the Gowfers get past Kilsyth then they will face the winners of the Arthurlie v Gartcairn replay.

Lochee United, who beat East Kilbride Thistle 5-0 in the last round, will travel to take on Irvine Meadow, while Swifts will face Bonnyrigg Rose at New Dundas Park should they beat Beith. A home tie against Rutherglen Glencairn or Bo’ness United awaits Forfar West End if they can get past Kilbirnie Ladeside.

Full draw : Kirkintilloch Rob Roy v Linlithgow Rose, Bonnyrigg Rose v Jeanfield or Beith, Irvine Meadow v Lochee Utd, Kilbirnie Ladeside or Forfar WE v Rutherglen Glencairn or Bo’ness Utd, Auchinleck Talbot v Pollok, Yoker v Wishaw or Forth, Kilsyth Rangers or Carnoustie Panmure v Gartcairn or Arthurlie, Sauchie v Hurlford or Haddington.

The ties are due to take place on Saturday February 17 with a 2pm kickoff.
