Aberdeen drew a blank against Partick Thistle on Saturday

Derek Mcinnes saw his side held 0-0 at Firhill.

A blustery, rain-soaked afternoon proved a factor in an encounter that was heavy on effort but short on quality. The point took second-bottom Partick four points clear of basement side Ross County, while Aberdeen’s winless run extended to four matches.

Two late goals were not enough for Ross County as new co-managers Steven Ferguson and Stuart Kettlewell saw their side beaten 3-2 at Kilmarnock. billy Mckay and Alex Schalk scored in the last five minutes but earlier goals from Lee Erwin, Kris Boyd and Eamonn Brophy secured three points at home for Kilmarnock.

Steve Clarke’s side are nine games unbeaten.

Marios Ogkmpoe backheeled a goal for Hamilton in the 11th minute to send them on their way to a 2-0 derby win over Motherwell.

David Templeton capitalised on a misunderstanding in the Motherwell midfield to net a second in the 69th minute.
