Slice of comedy to be served up at Inglis Hall coffee morning

An Angus theatre group has come up with a novel way of keeping coffee morning visitors entertained at its fundraiser, which takes place this weekend.

At Inglis Hall on Saturday, Edzell Drama Group will present its “theatre in the round” to treat guests to live theatre with cake.

The amateur thespians will present a short comedy play at 10am, with a second round at 11.15am.

Chairman Anne Newsome said the event will also feature extras including video snippets of past performances, a tour of the props and lighting balcony and invitations to anyone interested to join the drama group in roles offstage or as budding actors.
