Launch of Friends scheme for art school’s annual degree show

Businesses and individuals are encouraged to support young artists, designers and architects ahead of the biggest show of their careers.

The Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design and Architecture Degree Show, which runs in May, has introduced a new Friends of the Show scheme which aims to provide the best platform for graduating students’ future.

Businesses and individuals can support an artist through the scheme with packages ranging from £250-£1,000.

Professor Paul Harris said: “The degree show provides a huge boost for local businesses and significant cultural cache for the city so we hope businesses and individuals back this new initiative.”
