CARNOUSTIE Carnoustie Church coffee break takes place on Friday in the Philip Hall from 10-11.30am.

There will be teas/coffees and home baking.

MONTROSE

The next meeting of Montrose Ladies Probus Club will be held on Monday March 26 in the George Hotel when the speaker will be Becky Haldane of The Sailors Society.

Last month’s speaker was Dr Keith Ball.

FORFAR Macmillan Cancer Support, Forfar, is hosting a quiz night on Saturday at 7.30pm in Canmore Bowling Club with entry £3 per person.

ARBROATH

A winter walk and barbecue will take place at Hospitalfi­eld House on Wednesday March 21 from noon-3pm costing £15 per person. Children go free.

Hospitalfi­eld is celebratin­g the Taste of Angus Festival and the feast will be prepared by Simon Brown.

Booking is essential.

FORFAR

A meet the artist event with Nicola Wiltshire at the Meffan has been reschedule­d.

The session, titled The Loom Runs, The Smoke Rises, which was due to take place on March 3 will be on Saturday from 2-4pm.

ARBROATH

The Friendship Corner senior citizens club is hosting a coffee morning on Saturday from 10am to noon at Old and Abbey Church hall, admission £1.50.
