ROCKTALK GIG GUIDE

-

Dundee Promoters Make That A Take presents a rather special Sunday matinee show with Americana-fuelled punk rockers El Morgan & the Divers at Conroy’s Basement.

The English-based outfit bring the uncompromising and passionate punk from the heart of darkness, at the same time creating the sound of love, life and redemption.

First single Decorations, taken from the forthcoming LP, is a suitably haunting slice of dark country murder balladry meets fractured post-hardcore.

MTAT are absolutely delighted to be able to host them at their first Sunday basement matinee show.

Also on the bill are Delinquents, Dundee’s gobbiest indie pop-punk band back in the basement for the first time in more than a year bringing some upbeat fizzy bangers.

Finally there’s some razorsharp, audacious acoustic riot-pop from Edinburghbased singer-songwriter Lou Mclean, who brings her engaging, storytelling indiefolk to the basement for the first time.

Doors open at 2pm and there are limited £4 e-tickets, or it’s a fiver on the door.
