Angus Carers in Arbroath are holding their spring fair from 10am to 1pm on April 21.

Entry is £1 with children free.

KIRRIEMUIR Kirriemuir and District Floral Art Club meets next Thursday at 7.30pm in the Old Parish Church hall when the demonstrat­or is Gill Garrow from Elgin. Visitors welcome.

EXHIBITION

Dundee Photograph­ic Society is returning to Point Cafe Gallery at Discovery Point from today with an exhibition showcasing members’ work.

ARBROATH Shoppers with an eye for a bargain should head along to the Abbeygate Centre car park on Sunday for a car boot sale, in aid of Guide Dogs, between 8am-1pm.

For sellers, cars are £7 and vans £10.

MONIFIETH

The guest speaker at Monifieth Local History Society’s talk in the Community Cabin at 2pm next Thursday will be Terry Maccallum, who will speak about Birds, Bells and Bonnets, a story of life on the Craigie column of The Courier.

Members and associates £3, non-members £4 with proceeds to the House of Memories community project.
