A UK ticket-holder has staked a claim for Tuesday night’s £121.3 million Euromillions jackpot.

Lottery operators Camelot said information on the winner and where it was bought will only be revealed if the winner – or winners – decides to go public.

The win is the third-largest in UK history and the ticket-holder will soon find out that if money can’t buy happiness, it can buy just about everything else.

They could, if they wanted, splash out on their own Caribbean island. Frozen Cay, a private island in the Bahamas with a six-bedroom guest house and white beaches, is currently on the market for £12 million.

could pick up the 67-metre superyacht Anna, which is on the market for just over £56 million. It boasts a marble steam room, a dining room with a foldout balcony and a top speed of 16.7 knots.

Should they rather invest in art, they could spend their winnings on a painting like pop artist Roy Lichtenstein’s Masterpiece. The 1962 work sold for almost £118 million.

Alternatively, they could indulge in a fleet of the world’s most expensive cars. A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for an eyewatering £27 million in 2014 so the winner could buy one for themselves and three for family and friends.

They could also buy a house in the UK’S most expensive street. Currently, homes in Kensington Palace Gardens in west London, cost around £35 million, now well within the winner’s budget.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: “What a win. This ticket-holder has flown into third place on the National Lottery Rich List and can now afford to fly away anywhere they like.

“We will now look to support the winner as they take the first steps to enjoy this incredible win.”
