Broughty looking to go out on high

Broughty Athletic bring the curtain down on their Super League season as they take on Lochee United at Whitton Park.

Fed boss Jamie Mccunnie will be wanting to go out on a high after heavy defeats in the last two games.

Lochee, meanwhile, enjoyed a 3-2 win over Camelon on Monday night after being 2-0 down at the break, but the game will be remembered for the six red cards shown at the end of the match.

Carnoustie Panmure travel to Dundonald Bluebell with one eye on Sunday’s GA Engineering Cup final. Manager Alan Mcskimming will not risk anyone not 100% fit so will be including at least a couple of youth players.

Bluebell lost 2-1 to Linlithgow Rose at the weekend in another tempestuous affair but manager Jason Dair expects to have a full squad available.

In the North League Blairgowrie complete their campaign as they welcome Brechin Vics.

Vics’ Phil Mcguire will give game time to some younger players, resting others for Saturday’s last game at Coupar Angus.

Like Carnoustie, East Craigie will have one eye on Sunday’s final as they take on Lochee Harp.

The game is East Craigie’s last league game and co-managers Craig Brown and Shaun Wilkie will almost certainly rest a few ahead of the weekend showpiece.

Harp boss Michael Gormley is looking to close their season by putting an end to East Craigie’s run of 11 victories.
