ARBROATH: A great night of mixed dancing to Peter Bruce was had at the Old and Abbey Church Hall, Arbroath.
The next Sunday night dancing is on June 10 7.30-10pm. Music by Johnny Duncan, all welcome, £3.50 entrance, refreshments at half-time.
DIABETES: Angus Diabetes Forum is hosting a meeting on Thursday June 14, 6.30pm8.30pm at Links Health Centre, Montrose for those affected by Type 2 diabetes.
The topic will be ‘managing your diet’ and will include information on current diabetes research.

ARBROATH: A quiz night organised by the League of Friends of Arbroath Infirmary is on Friday June 15 at 7pm for 7.30pm. Teams of four £12, prizes and a raffle. To book contact 01241 875537 or 872457.
BRECHIN: Brechin and District Choral Union is preparing for its summer concert in St Andrew’s Church on Sunday June 17 at 3.30pm.
The hour-long programme features choral items, readings and instrumental items, followed by light refreshments. The Choral Union was started in 2002 and performs two concerts annually. This will be the final concert so a number of old favourites are included.
