Inquiry into death in Kirkcaldy

-

Police say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a man at a house in Kirkcaldy earlier this month.

There has been a police presence at the property in Dalmahoy Crescent for more than a week now, since Sunday June 3 when 60-year-old Stewart Lee was found dead.

The address in the town’s Dunnikier Estate remained taped off on Tuesday and a police vehicle was seen stationed outside.

However, it appears foul play has been ruled out.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in Kirkcaldy can confirm they are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man who was found at an address in Dalmahoy Crescent, Kirkcaldy, on Sunday, June 3, 2018.

“Inquiries are at an early stage but the death is not thought to be suspicious.”
