Hospitalfield speakers lined up to give insight into arts projects

-

The Friends of Hospitalfield Programme continues in to October and November, with two speakers who will talk about the organisations in which they have played an important role in developing.

The first talk takes place on October 11 at 6.30pm at Hospitalfield with a presentation by Stephen Feeke.

He is the director of New Art Centre, Roche Court in Wiltshire.

During his talk he will expand on the work in his current role at Roche Court and his experience of developing the programme and working within this context.

Stephen was previously Curator of Exhibitions at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, where he was involved in all aspects of exhibition making and project management.

He has also curated exhibitions elsewhere, most recently Caro at Chatsworth and Laura Ford at Strawberry Hill, and in 2017 was involved in a major project to conserve Anthony Caro’s Sea Music on Poole Quay.

The second talk takes place on November 1 at Hospitalfield beginning at 6.30pm, when the speaker will be Perdita Hunt.

A trained arts administrator, she has worked in senior positions at the Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund, WWF-UK and most recently as director of Watts Gallery.

As director of Watts Gallery Trust, Perdita led the Hope Restoration Project to save the future of Watts Gallery and its collection. This was followed by the Watts Studios project which restored the studio wing of the artists’ home. Entry is free to members of The Friends of Hospitalfield, and £5 for nonmembers.
