New centre record for a pen of three gimmers

United Auctions, Stirling, had 438 breeding cattle and a catalogue entry of 5,602 at its annual sale of BF draft ewes and gimmers.

A centre record price for a pen of three gimmers consigned by M/s Blackwood, Auldhouseburn realised £2,400, purchased by R Lennox, Northern Ireland. Ewes were topped at £550 with a pen of 10 consigned by E Macmillan, Lurg purchased by M Harrison, Northern Ireland
