Wanderers aim to boost first title hopes

Grove IIS entertain Championship 1 table- toppers Edinbugh Uni II at DISC, while prospects of Stirling Uni taking anything from Waverley Inveresk Trinity are slim.

Likewise in Champ II where Perthshire and Kinross have tough away assignments against Stirling Wanderers and Strathclyde Uni today, while the latter also hit the road for the capital to line up against Erskine Stewart’s Melville tomorrow.

With no league matches scheduled for today, district action is limited to KO Cup and Plate contests. In round 2 of the cup it’s Madras v Perthshireiiandstandrews IV against Wanderers II. Brechin Thistles welcome Blairgowrie in the first round Plate match-up.
