Multi-breed show and sale of rams

FORFAR – Lawrie and Symington sold 172 rams at its annual multi-breed show and sale of rams.

The judge, Willy Millar from Huntingfaulds, awarded the following prizes:

Texel shearling: 1 R Mcnee, Over Finlarg – £1,100; 2– R Mcnee Ltd, Over Finlarg – £880; 3 RW Blackhall, The Green, Milton of Durris – £680.

Suffolk shearling: 1 Thomas A Sands Ltd, Southfield – £400; 2 Thomas A Sands Ltd, Southfield – £360; 3 James Scott, East Ingliston – £165.
