St Andrews undone by disappointing second-half display

The games between Crossgates Primrose and Whitehill Welfare, Hill of Beath and Newtongrange Star, and Jeanfield Swifts and Blackburn United were all postponed

First Division Conference A

The game between Burntisland Shipyard and Haddington Athletic as well as the clash between Kinnoull and Leith Athletic were both postponed.

St Andrews United led twice at home to Dunipace but a poor second half saw Saints end the game losing 4-2. Saints took the lead in the first half courtesy of an own goal but Dunipace pulled level early in the second half.

Dylan Honeyman put St Andrews back in front but that was as good as it got as the visitors found another gear and with three further goals inflicted a defeat that hadn’t seemed likely at half time.

Conference B

The inclement weather played havoc throughout the non-league card and the games between Glenrothes and Dalkeith Thistle and Tweedmouth Rangers and Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts were postponed.

Alex Jack Cup semifinal

Oakley United secured their place in the Alex Jack Cup final, their first as a senior club, with an excellent 2-1 win over Premier League Dunbar United at Blairwood Park.

Fraser Mclaren put the visitors in front after nine minutes but Stewart Kenny’s side came back after halftime and equalised on 72 minutes through Stuart Love and then incredibly Dylan Mcgowan hit what proved to be the winner just two minutes later.
