Central Taxis East of Scotland League Premier Division

Crossgates Primrose will be looking to bounce back from last week’s 4-1 defeat at Penicuik Athletic and climb away from the lower reaches of mid-table in the Premier Division.

Alan Campbell’s men take on Whitehill Welfare at Humbug Park.

Campbell expects to have the same squad that travelled to Penicuik last weekend.

Jeanfield Swifts have won just three games in the Premier Division from the nine played, and only one of those has been at Riverside.

Ross Gunnion’s outfit will be looking to kick-start a disappointing season with three points from the visit of Blackburn United to Perth this weekend.

Gunnion is without Fraser Smith and Mark Smith but hopes to add a trialist to his squad.

Dundonald Bluebell boss Lee Dair will be looking for a change of luck as Bluebell welcome Newtongrange Star to Moorside Park.

Dair has brought in Kevin Fotheringham as his assistant. The duo go into their first game without Matty Gay and Stuart Walton, but hope to have Lewis Mackenzie back from injury.

First Division Conference A

Oakleyunitedmanager Stewart Kenny is without the influential Stuart Love as they travel to the capital to take on Ormiston in Conference A.

United’s rich vein of form continued last week with a fine 3-1 win at Stirling University that made it five wins on the bounce, and they travel to Recreation Park as favourites.

St Andrews United’s game at Ballast Park against Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts last week was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

They will try to build on the 8-1 thrashing of Glenrothes as they take on bottom club Craigroyston at Barnetts Park.

Conference B

Glenrothes bounced back from the thrashing at

St Andrews United and marked the beginning of John Martin and Kevin Smith’s tenure as co-managers with an impressive 2-1 win over Conference A leaders Leith Athletic.

The new management team will be looking for a repeat of that performance as they face Tweedmouth.

SFA South Region Challenge Cup Round 4

Hill of Beath face a tough afternoon as they welcome Lowland League side Cumbernauld Colts to Kiers Park in the SFA South Region Challenge Cup.

The visitors are midtable in the Lowland League and have had a rollercoaster season, but will still be a step up in quality for John Mitchell’s side.

The Haws boss expects to have the same squad that beat Musselburgh Athletic 3-0 last week.

Kelty Hearts are also in South Region Challenge Cup action as they welcome Stirling University to New Central Park.

The Lowland League leaders took all three points from last week’s visit to The K Park against reigning champions East Kilbride, and manager Barry Ferguson will be throwing his full attention at progressing from one of the most prestigious cup competitions in the senior non-league set-up.

Ferguson is expected to have the same squad that travelled to East Kilbride.

Football Nation Qualifying Cup Round 2

Kinnoull were scheduled to play the winners of the first-round tie between Penicuik Athletic and Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale that should have taken place on Tuesday.

However, due to that game being postponed, the second-round tie has been delayed.

King Cup Round 1

Burntisland Shipyard take on Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts. Both sides have had a week off after games were postponed last weekend, and both have full squads.
