A talk was given about the history of the business, then there were demonstrat­ions of gift-wrapping and how to make an onion and cheese twist. Agnes Thomson proposed thanks.

COLLACE and KINROSSIE. The institute sadly reports that Christine Strathie, president and valued member, has died. Members visited Print Works in Coupar Angus where John Easson gave a talk on the printing process. DULL and DISTRICT. Members were welcomed to the Kenmore Bakery by the Mitchell family. Keith and Jacqueline demonstrat­ed how to make petit fours.

DUNDUFF and DISTRICT. President Anne Marshall introduced Joanne Tarvit and Margaret Dalgleish from Cairneyhil­l SWI who were tellers for the evening. FALKLAND and DISTRICT. Una and Dorothy entertaine­d with humorous poems and stories. SILVIE and RUTHVEN. Rona introduced Judith Mcvicar and helper Moira Mccolgan from Airlie SWI who demonstrat­ed Christmas treats in the form of canapes and cocktails. Valerie Smith was hostess and Dorothy Anderson proposed thanks.
