Packaging company to invest £3.8 million
PITREAVIE: Plans for 57,000sq ft manufacturing factory
Fife-headquartered packaging firm Pitreavie Group has announced plans for a £3.8 million corrugated box manufacturing facility.
The 57,000sq ft site in Cumbernauld will create 35 jobs and expand the Glenrothes-based firm’s range of products.
The new facility, which opens in March, will have the capability to produce more than 30 million boxes per year.
The fast-growing company, which was established a decade ago, has made several strategic acquisitions and last year announced plans to create an additional 40,000sq ft of warehousing space and a packaging Centre of Excellence in Glenrothes.
