Bullocks (6) sold to 219ppk and £1397 Nethermyres to ave 214p. Heifers (17) sold to 242ppk Nethermyres and £1329 Mill of Inverarity to ave 213p.

Prime hoggs (600) sold to 295ppk for Beltex from Balbrydie and to £124 per head from Gibsonhall, Fallaw and West Balhagarty to ave 241.1ppk for SQQS and 236.2ppk overall (-8.6p).

Caledonian Marts Ltd sold 2115 prime hoggets, ewes and tups. Overall ave for 1,476 hoggets was 240ppkg (+9.5p on the week). Top price was Doune Farms, West Lundie, at £136 for a 61kg Beltex. Top ppk Newbigging for a pen of 40kg Beltex at 318ppkg, or £127. Heavy hoggets 45.6kg+ averaged £118.32 (+£4.28 on the week). Biggest rise on the week were the 39-45.5kg which ave £107.19 (+£7.38).
