Heartbroken mum pays tribute to her ‘little diva’ Robyn
TRAGEDY: Family left devastated following death of three-yearold in hospital after she was struck by car in Fife village
The mother of a three-year-old Fife girl killed in a road accident has paid an emotional tribute to her “little diva”.
Robyn Knox died in hospital after being struck by a car in the village of Townhill, near Dunfermline, on Monday morning.
The little girl, from Cardenden, was described by mum Danielle Falconer as “the most loving, kind, gentle and caring wee soul with the biggest heart”.
Heartbroken Danielle had recently announced that she is due to give birth to twins on Christmas Day and that Robyn was “super excited” about becoming a big sister.
“We will make sure her baby twins know about her and speak about her every day,” said Danielle in an emotional post on her Facebook page.
“We are absolutely shattered into million pieces and there are absolutely no words to describe how we feel at this moment in time.
“Robyn was the best thing to ever happen to us. We were blessed with the most beautiful baby girl and we will forever remember her that way.
“Her sassy attitude made her into the little diva she is and I’m sure each of you will have a lovely story to tell of her.”
Danielle urged friends to share their stories of Robyn with the family “to help us keep her memory alive forever”.
Robyn was a member of Starlet Dance Studio in Dunfermline and had worked hard to build up her dancing skills, winning trophies for her efforts. Starlet Dance Studio said in a post: “Today Starlet Dance lost one of our special babies. We will miss you a crazy amount Miss Robyn, you were so loved by all of us.”
It is understood Robyn may have run out on to the road on Main Street having been in the village’s convenience store shortly before.
Robyn was out with her auntie Annilie Muller when tragedy struck.
In a poignant post on Facebook, Annilie said: “I’m sorry I couldn’t save you yesterday. Words can’t describe how I am feeling right now. Seeing you be taken away from us yesterday was the worst day of my life.”
Robyn’s uncle Paul Marshall has launched a Justgiving crowdfunding page to raise funds for the funeral. Paul will be walking the West Highland Way this month in memory of his niece.
