Prime bullocks (10) averaged 219.4p (+16.3p) and sold to 229p per kg and £1,395.15.

Prime heifers (20) averaged 222.2p (+1.6p) and sold to 237p per kg and £1,491.60. Young bulls (6) averaged 163.6p (-3p) and sold to 195p p per kg and £1,487.30.

30 to 48 Month: Bullocks (2) averaged 144p and sold to 149p per kg and £1,065.35. Heifers (2) averaged 199.8p (+9.5p) and sold to 208p per kg and £1,497.60.

Beef cows (148) averaged 140.3p (-0.2p) and sold to 199.2p per kg and £1,570 for a 788kg British Blue from Tocherford, Crathes. Dairy cows (6) averaged 116.9p (-3.7p) and sold to 121.3p per kg for a 738kg Holstein Friesian from Flottersto­n House, and £1,090 for a 990kg Ayrshire from Netherton of Inverveddi­e, Peterhead.

Bulls (9) averaged 98.2p (+3.5p) and sold to 106.9p per kg for a 1,020kg Limousin from 11 Lochend, Castletown, and £1,390 for a 1,400kg Aberdeen-angus from Easter Duthil, Carrbridge.

Boning cows (5) averaged £473.

Bullocks (515) averaged 229.47p and sold to 298.80p per kg for a 246kg Limx from Eastmill, and to £1,540 for a 732kg AAX from Oatridge.

Dairy bullocks (44) averaged 189.85p and sold to 215.80p per kg for a 278kg BFX from Gilkerscle­ugh, and to £1,075 for a 505kg MOX from Caddell.

Heifers (385) averaged 222.26p and sold to 277.80p per kg for a 360kg Limx from Little Spot, and to £1,420 for a 704kg Simx from Claysyke.

Young bulls (45) averaged 235.20p and sold to 270.60p per kg for a AAX from Cathpair, and £1,140 for a Simx from East Merkland. Beef cows and bulls (150) averaged 138.51p and sold to 192.20p per kg for a Simx from Muircot, and £1,470 for a Limx from Over Finlarg.

Dairy cows (23) averaged 120.73p and sold to 162.70p per kg for a MOX from Claylands, and to £1,130 for a MOX from Meikle Camoquhill.

Out-of-spec cattle (eight) averaged 187.07p and sold to 209.20p per kg for a Limx from Woodhead, and to £1,270 for an AAX from Blair Castle Estate.

Bullocks (four) averaged 239p and sold to a top of 252p per kg and £1,554.84 for a 617kg British Blue from Nethermyre­s. Heifers (20) averaged 237p and sold to a top of 259p per kg for a 550kg Limousin from Nethermyre­s, and to £1,498.14 for a 609kg Blonde.

Prime hoggs (282) averaged 246p (+3p) and sold to a top of 302p per kg and £133 for a pen of 44kg Beltex from Balbrydie.

SQQ prime hoggs averaged 251p per kg. Ewes and rams (113) averaged £88.

HUNTLY – United Auctions sold 1,720 prime sheep.

Old season lambs SQQ (1139) averaged 254.24p selling to a top of 266p per kg for 39.5kg Cheviots from Durran Mains, Castletown, and to £132 for 59kg Charollais from Gowanbrae, Skye of Curr twice. Ewes (581) sold to a top of £178 for Texels from Midtown of Glass.

STIRLING – Caledonian Marts Ltd sold 133 cattle comprising of 68 bullocks, heifers and young bulls, and 65 OTM cattle.

Prime heifers averaged 227p and sold to 260p per kg for a Limousin from W Dandie & Sons, Learielaw, Broxburn, and to £1,813 for a Limousin from D Dickinson, Brockwoodl­ees, Canonbie.
