Heifers (289) averaged 251.9p and sold to 326.3p per kg for a pen of 285kg Charolais crosses from 3 Forss, Thurso, and £1,565 for a 644kg Simmental cross from Ha, Durran. Aberdeen-angus bullocks (77) averaged 252.7p and sold to 283.3p per kg for a pen of 302kg from Howe, Lyth, and £1,325 for a pen of 529kg from 5 Lochend, Castletown. Aberdeen-angus heifers (20) averaged 244.6p and sold to 324.3p per kg for a pen of 220kg from 27 Brawl, Strathy, and £1,215 for a 586kg from Wesy Lyth.

Young Farmers overwinter­ed cattle (five) averaged 249.6p and sold to 259.2p per kg for a 517kg Limousin cross from John Gunn, North Kilimster, and £1,350 for a 530kg Limousin cross from James Gunn, Whitefield. Breeding cattle (six) sold to £900 for a Limousin cow and calf.
